求救！为何装了打印机使用不了？

想请教各位一个问题，为何装了Canon ix5000的打印机，但使用不了？

打印时出现的对话框内容如下：
Error No.: 300
The printer does not respond.
Make sure that the printer is plugged in, power-on, and properly connected to your computer.

打印机是用USB线直接连我的电脑的，也装好了驱程，选的是Easy Install，但就是使用不了～
